About these websites

urcalculator.in, medicinenutri.com, recipe-1.com and netandsky.com are free, independent websites built by Satya Babu to make everyday decisions a little easier. Plan your money, understand your food and medicines, cook a wholesome meal, and check your internet, time and sky — all in one family of simple tools. There are no sign-ups and no clutter, and most tools work entirely on your own device. Eat well, stay healthy, spend wisely: that is the idea behind everything here.

How medicinenutri.com started

Satya Babu always checks what is in a medicine before taking it, and gives importance to diet and exercise. medicinenutri.com grew out of those habits: a quick way to see a medicine's composition and what each ingredient is for, and what is in the food you eat.

About this data

India (new medicines added every week): we built this list by hand, starting with the best-selling brands, the biggest companies and the medicines most often prescribed for common conditions. Each brand's composition, strength and maker was checked against the pack details shown by large online pharmacies (Apollo, PharmEasy, Truemeds, Medibuddy and others) and, where available, the company's own website. Where listings disagreed, we left the brand out. The description of each ingredient (what it is for, and what to be careful about) is written in plain words from standard prescribing information. When a search finds nothing, you can choose to send us just that name, and we add the most requested ones every week.

India, full list: beyond the hand-checked brands, the search covers about 235,000 more Indian brands from two open datasets: the A–Z medicines dataset of India by Shudhanshu Singh and Vivek Tiwari (licensed CC BY-SA 4.0: name, maker, pack, up to two active ingredients and the 2022 price) and the all_medicine databased dataset of medicine uses, side effects and drug classes by Mohamed Shuhaib (licensed Apache 2.0). Discontinued medicines are left out. These entries are not checked by hand and date from 2022, so always check the composition printed on the pack. The India medicine data shown from the first dataset is shared under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Some entries were completed with facts listed in CIMS India 2025–26 (brand, maker, ingredients and strengths, pack and price): mainly the third and later ingredients of combination medicines, and newer brands not in the 2022 data.

USA: looked up live in the US Food and Drug Administration's public drug-label database (openFDA). That search goes straight from your browser to api.fda.gov. Europe: about 85,000 medicines from the European Medicines Agency's official list of medicines authorised in the EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (the Article 57 database), with uses from its public assessment reports. It is downloaded and refreshed from time to time.
